Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure to welcome the 4th Aquaculture Congress 2026, an event that has grown beyond Greece’s borders, becoming a key point of reference for Greek aquaculture and a starting ground for dialogue, collaboration, and progress.

Greek aquaculture continues to prove its strength and resilience, even within a global environment marked by uncertainty and constant challenges. Despite ongoing pressures on the economy, rising production costs, and geopolitical instability, our sector maintains a solid growth path with consistent export performance, advanced know-how, and products that stand out for their quality and added value. Today, more than ever, we are called to build on this foundation with vision, innovation, and a collective spirit. The opportunities emerging through the green transition, sustainable development, and international networking give new momentum to the industry and lay the groundwork for a more resilient and outward-looking future.

This Congress offers the ideal platform to exchange ideas, present new initiatives, and shape common strategies that will strengthen the competitiveness and international profile of Greek aquaculture. We’re proud to present the 4th Sectoral Aquaculture Congress 2026, continuing a successful series of events that support collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth in aquaculture.

Organized by AMBIO S.A., with the support of the Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization, the Congress will be held on May 15–16, 2026, at the Athens International Conference Centre.

Over time, this Congress has grown into a platform where decisions, partnerships, and innovations in aquaculture take shape.

The 2026 agenda focuses on the real issues and opportunities ahead, from new technologies and policy shifts to aquaculture’s role in human health and the growing impact of women and young professionals in the sector.
