Global Sustainability Specialist, BIOMAR
Global Sustainability Specialist with international experience across aquaculture, R&D, formulation, and technical leadership. Currently supporting global business units at BioMar Global in the implementation of sustainability policies, advancing internal sustainability initiatives, collaborating with suppliers on project development and data collection, and performing and interpreting Life Cycle Assessments to support data-driven decision-making.
Previously served as Technical Manager, BioMar Asia (2023-2025), leading a multicultural team and driving technical innovation, cross-functional R&D collaboration, and market-adapted feed solutions across diverse species and regions. Joined BioMar Group in 2019 as a Feed Formulator in France, working across the markets of France, Spain, Italy, Africa, and global hatchery portfolios.
Strong scientific background in aquaculture, molecular biology, physiology, and sustainability, supported by an MSc in Aquaculture, Environment and Society, with a thesis focused on the epigenetic programming of the stress axis in gilthead seabream, and additional industry experience through an R&D and genetic breeding internship at Nireus Aquaculture. Early research experience in Brazil and Australia built a solid foundation in biological sciences, molecular biology, physiology, and applied aquaculture research. Recognized for combining technical depth, global perspective, stakeholder collaboration, and scientific insight to deliver practical, data-driven solutions for sustainable aquaculture.
