Marilou Suc

Marilou Suc is a blue growth consultant and founder of Blue Connection, a strategic advisory firm supporting innovation and impactful projects in the blue economy.

She is also the co-founder and Secretary General of NOWA (Network of Women in Aquaculture), a global initiative promoting gender equality, visibility, and collaboration across the aquaculture value chain. Through NOWA, she leads actions in advocacy, networking, and capacity building to support women in the sector worldwide.

Her work focuses on bridging strategy, innovation, and ecosystem development, with a strong interest in sustainable aquaculture. She contributes as an expert advisor to the FAO’s Guidelines for Sustainable Aquaculture (GSA), supporting the development of more resilient and inclusive aquaculture systems.

She is also the host of BlueTech Around the World, a podcast where she has produced several episodes on aquaculture innovations, including digitalization, IMTA, RAS, and emerging technologies shaping the future of the sector.
