Symeon Diamantidis

Symeon Diamantidis was born in 1963 in Nea Michaniona, Thessaloniki, Greece. He graduated from Michaniona High School, studied Business Administration, and speaks English.

He has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DIOPAS S.A. since 1982. DIOPAS S.A. is a family-owned company specializing in the manufacturing of nets for aquaculture, fishing, sports applications, and customized net-based constructions. The company distributes its products throughout Greece as well as to countries across Europe, Asia, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East. DIOPAS is an environmentally friendly company, actively participating in research initiatives and actions related to the circular economy.

Throughout his professional career, Mr. Diamantidis has held several important institutional positions, including:

• President of the Association of Professionals and Craftsmen of Nea Michaniona (2006–2010)
• Vice President of the Chamber of Small Industries of Thessaloniki (2008–2013)
• Financial Supervisor of SEVE – Greek Exporters Association (2018–2022)
• Member of the Boards of Directors of the Thessaloniki Chambers, including the Chamber of Small Industries, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Professional Chamber
• Member of the Administrative Committee of KEPA-ANEM
• Vice President of the Board of Directors of Thess-INTEC
• President of SEVE – Greek Exporters Association since 2022
• Holder of the title “Offikialios Archon Eutaxias” of the Ecumenical Patriarchate since 2024
